About Brightest Star School of Performing Arts
Brightest Star has been evolving since 1977, when we began as Newark Academy Summer Musical Theatre and later became the Vecchio School of Performing Arts, Morristown-Beard Summer Musical Theatre, and finally, Brightest Star School of Performing Arts, formally housed at the Bickford Theatre at The Morris Museum.
We are an expanding independent school of performing arts, encouraging all students to “learn arts for life”.
