Central Wisconsin Children's Theatre

The Central Wisconsin Children’s Theatre was formed in 1979 by the merger of two existing organizations – Wausau Children’s Theatre and The Merry Pipers. When the groups combined and incorporated, CWCT was born. Since that time, CWCT is the only theatre organization in the area offering theatre for and by children. Over the years, hundreds of shows have been produced by thousands of children in Wausau and the surrounding communities. In 2010, a branch of CWCT was started in the Stevens Point/Plover area.
